Doctorow’s First Law
Open Source @ Hesjerocken was a fantastic weekend of mud, forest spirits and some good ol’ dark & twisted psytrance.
The mandatory mud stains and torn pants are here presented to you as evidence for my above assertion that this was a supremely sucessful weekend.
A couple of the highlights were Procs and the Hallucinogenic Horses.

You are to the “environment” what your own body’s organs are to you: thoroughly integrated, interdependent and inseparable. Should your heart, for example, gain individual consciousness, what role would you like it to assume? Presumably you would desire it to remain faithful to it’s previous commitment; namely, pumping blood through you. You don’t really want your heart to go rogue and disregard its dependency on (and responsibility to) the rest of your body.
